Latest Writing model?

I think my research needs some modifying here and there. Now I'm practically trying to find the latest models in writing. I used Raimes(1983) model to be campared to the writing strategies used by bloggers but it seems a little outdated. You know 1983 compared to 2005... going to 2006. anyway I'm open to any suggestion.
