::prefer to be anonymous?::

In the world of blogging, 40% likes to reveal their real name and the rest stated that they will be comfortable being anonymous. Is being anonymous a good factor or not?.. Does this factor somehow lead to the freedom of the anonymous blogger to leave comments that are a bit harsh or sensitive to the other bloggers. If others think that using nicknames are people that are afraid to speak out loud, insecure, unconfident and ashamed with themselves, does that mean I have to change my nick to my real name to? Cause I’m not all the above. I'm just confused...
